This page gives you details on how accessible the cottages are for visitors with impaired mobility. We strongly advise you to telephone us and we can then give much more detailed and specific information

The Cottages

The car parking area is about 10 yards from the cottages. The pathway is gravelled with granite chips and is fairly level.

The entrance to the cottages is over a 3 inch lintel through double doors.

The bathrooms are on the ground floor, but there is limited space for a wheelchair.

The Dower House has a ground floor twin bedroom next to the bathroom. Wheelchair access on the ground floor is complicated by a 90 degree left turn and step between lounge and kitchen/bathroom/ground floor bedroom.

The Coach House and Felindre Cottage have upstairs bedrooms. The stairs have a handrail.

The front lawn is reasonably level, there are picnic tables to sit on, or sun chairs and there are lovely views of coast and country.

General

The paths are not lit, but there are outside lights by the door of each cottage. We did not want light pollution, (you can often see the Milky Way!)

Most path gadients are less than 1:20

Most doorways are standard width

Seating is moveable

We can normally help with luggage if required.

Mobile phone usage is restricted as signal is relatively weak.

There is a telephone for public use in an old style phone box.

Service dogs welcome

Public transport at end of lane.

Very good local taxi service.
